This is truly my favorite LYS in Chicago! The shop itself is a sunny space that feels like the room in your house you wish you had to knit in (you know, the one with no kids, pets or husbands). It's an atmosphere in which you can pull out your knitting and hang out all afternoon. You'll leave smarter about knitting and having made a few friends. Oh, and don't forget to try the coffee shop, Stubbs, next door. Yummy, yummy, yummy!

This is the only knitting store in town to buy from. They care about what they sell, who the suppliers are, and their customers. I frequent there often and have always seen browsers and purchasers shown the same care and respect. They are always kind and answer any and all questions with equal importance and instruction.
I have grown to love knitting because of the guidance and growth I have gained from the people at Knit1. Enjoy!
