This shop is tucked into the back of an older home and I make a point of stopping by every time we are in the Flathead Valley. The store is small but sunlit and cozy; the staff is super nice and it's more like dropping by a friend's house (one who is an amazing knitter, makes the coolest stuff and has shelves and shelves of nice yarns) than it is going to the store. There is a little "living room" in the back part of the store where you can relax in the rocker or on the sofa and thumb through knitting books; or join other knitters at the "kitchen table" in the main room to work on a project or just visit. If you buy a skein or two or eight they will happily wind them up for you. We travel a bit, and I make a point of searching out yarn shops wherever we go, this is one of my favorites.
