Hello!
My name is Laura and I work for Rickert & Beagle Books, an independent bookstore in Dormont in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. I am writing you because we have a great free event coming up that we want to invite you to!
Joan Dark (sometimes known as Toni Carr) the celebrity knitter and author of "Knockdown Knits" & "Knits for Nerds" is doing a free event at our store for her new book, "Geek Knits!" There will be a book signing and Q&A at 2 p.m. at our store on June 13th in which all three books will be available for purchase.
From 5-7 the same day, there will be a Yarn-Crafters Social where crocheters and knitters alike can work on old projects or start new ones while hanging out with Joan. She will be happy to teach knitting tricks and tips during this event which is also free!
