disappointed customer on 9/30/2008:
this shop does not have convenient hours of operation and often closes before the posted store hours! i have stopped numerous times during the posted store hours to find the shop closed. this is frustrating since the drive is over 20 miles. also, particularly in summer, the store's closing hours will be uncertain... for example: "4-ish" was posted at one time. i love this store otherwise; i just wish i could actually shop there!!

I hadn't knitted for 20 years until the day I decided to step into this shop. Heaven! The shop carries the most luxurious yarns, needles and bags, as well as their more affordable counterparts. And her stock is deep. No waiting a month to get the yarn you need to make a sweater. The owner is an excellent instructor. I've stopped by many mornings to get help on projects. She also offers private lessons in the afternoons and has created patterns for my hard to fit size. I've never found the shop closed when it was supposed to be open, but I do know she has extended her hours. She's even open on Friday nights until 9:00 for both shopping and knitting group. Love, love, love this shop!

The owner is very knowledgeable about knitting, gauge, yarn substitutions, tweaking patterns. Lots of stock, at good pricing. Love this store, and often go to just sit and knit.
